Your part of a Paid To Click (PTC) and your trying to get people to join using your referral link, sounds easy enough but you realise eventually that there are many other people in the same situation trying to get people to join via their referral links also, so how do you get an edge above the rest? Follow some of these tips and your sure to have some more ref’s in no time.

Blogs/Websites

With this, all you do is create a website or blog and post your referral links on there, give a description of each site and then advertise your blog or website anywhere you can from your myspace, online forums etc… to attract visitors.

Online Forums

If your a member of an online forum you can do many things to help advertise your referral links:

• Place referral links in your signature
• Create a post containing your referral links (if need be explain what ptr is)
• Link the WWW under your avatar to your blog,forum post,website or other
• If it’s an online forum where people can donate money either directly to the forum or to a site the forum is a part of (like a game site or similar) and someone asks about how they can earn money without donating their own money either mention your website/blog or post about what ptrs are and your referral links

Now things are different from forum to forum (such as the type of forum

it is and the rules of those forums) so just make sure what and where your posting is ok with the rules of the forums before you post and whatever you do, don’t try to hide that the links people are joining with are your referral links.

Recommend people you actually know

Here are a few simple things to prevent getting scammed. Follow them closely, they are very accurate and will help you in the long run.

1. Don’t Join Non-Customized Paid To Click Sites When finding a new Paid To Click site, look at the layout, is it good, or bad? This may not seem like a key factor, but it most definately is. If the layout is very bad(visually), they probably didn’t put much time into it. This means they either can’t design, or just don’t care. Also if they are running the same old “bux” layout with a new banner, keep away. You want to find a Paid To Click site that is custom and in it for the long haul. Paid-To-Click commonly known as “PTC”

is a method of earning money online by reading emails and clicking on the “paid” link. “Paid” link is a link sent along with the advertisement which pays the members, money or points for reading the email advertisement that is purchased by the programs advertisers. The value of money and points vary from program to program.

All Pay To Read Programs have “timers” where the member is required to stay on the advertised website for a specific period of time (for example, 10 seconds, 20 seconds etc.), which again, vary from program to program. The member receives credit to his/ her account after the timer runs out with the notification that the member has received credit for the visit. If the member exits from the advertised site before the timer runs out, the member’s account will not receive credit (money/points).

Get Paid To Click Programs or for some people called Get Paid To Read Program (GPTR) are usually free to join and 100% opt in. This means, members do not need to pay any money to join and they are required to sign up with the program/s of their choice, on his/ her own accord. However, there are a few paid to read programs which require a membership fee to join.

You can be earning up to $2000 a month or more. You’re not going to become a millionaire but this can turn out to be a good extra income. Plus it only takes about 30 min to 1 hour a day. Nobody said it was easy though… specially when you get started.

Each PTC site has a minimum payout (usually around $10). Once you have reached this limit you can request your money. There are certain Paid To Click (PTC) Program Owners who limit membership to people from certain countries. Limiting the membership to certain countries is as per the discretion of the PTC Program Owner. Members are limited for various reasons, including the kind of advertising that is promoted in the PTC site.

For example, if a site is open only to members from countries such as United States, United Kingdom etc, it could mean that the advertisers offer their product/ service only to members from those countries. Therefore, having members from other countries would not be of use to the program.

However, there are certain PTC programs that limit membership to search friendly countries as searches performed by members who do not come from search friendly countries would not earn the program/ its advertisers any money. I will explain about searches in a post below.

The person who is interested in joining a PTC site can easily see whether his/ her country is listed in the front page. For example;

- International Members welcome, which means, people from all over the world can join the PTC site so long as they can read and understand English . The reason English is emphasized by PTC Program Owners is explained in a post below.
- Some PTC sites specifically mention that only members from certain countries are accepted and the list of acceptable countries are usually mentioned in the home page itself. If you come from a country listed by the program

as not accepted, please do not join the PTC site. If you join a site where membership is not open to your country, the PTC Program Owner will delete your membership.
- Some PTC sites specify that even though International Members are welcome, members from certain countries are not allowed to join. Here again, if you are from a country that is not allowed to join, please do not join the site as your membership will be deleted by the PTR Program Owner.

- Some sites specify that even though International Members are welcome, members from certain countries will be able to redeem for ads only. If you are from a country where you can redeem for ads only, it means, even though you would be able to earn money from the site

, you will not be paid any money even when you reach payout. You would be able to redeem what you earn for advertising ONLY. Therefore, please make sure you are eligible for payout before joining rather than joining the site and finding out later that you will not be paid money. There is little point in blaming the PTC Program Owner of not paying what you earn if the site specifically says that members from certain countries will not be paid but can use their earnings for ads only.
